The Prime Minister was busy at the Gulshan office until 3 AM
Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tariq Rahman spent a second consecutive night at his Gulshan political office, conducting interviews for reserved women's seat candidates until 3:00 AM on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Joined by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and members of the National Standing Committee, the Prime Minister meticulously reviewed aspirants from the Dhaka, Chittagong, Comilla, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions. With over 900 candidates vying for the 36 seats allocated to the BNP-led alliance, the leadership is prioritizing a thorough selection process to ensure dedicated representation before the upcoming election on May 12.
