Western Group and Qatar Airways sign corporate agreement

Western Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading and most diversified business conglomerates, has signed a corporate agreement with Qatar Airways, the world’s most awarded airline.

The signing ceremony took place on Sunday (27 October) at Western Group’s Head Office in Dhaka.

Under the agreement, Western Group’s companies — including Western Engineering, Tiger Cement, LEADS Corporation Ltd., Western Superior Jute Industries Ltd., Western Overseas and others — will enjoy Qatar Airways’ exclusive corporate travel benefits, discounts, and premium services.

Mr. Nahfid Ahmed Anonno, Managing Director of LEADS Corporation Ltd. and Director of Western Group, delivered the welcome address at the ceremony.

Mr. Mohamed El Emam, Country Manager of Qatar Airways for Bangladesh, said, “We are proud to sign this agreement with Western Group, a symbol of integrity and innovation in Bangladesh. We believe this partnership will mark a new milestone of mutual trust and long-term collaboration.”

Also present at the event were Mr. Nagir Ahmed Apurbo, Managing Director of Tiger Cement and Director of Western Group; Major General (Retd.) Mizanur Rahman Khan, Executive Director of Western Group; and Ms. Marufa Mahfuz Sonia, Account Manager of Qatar Airways, along with senior officials from both organizations.
