If Lebanon is excluded from the ceasefire, instability will increase: UK

British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has emphasized the urgent need to include Lebanon in the current ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and Iran to prevent regional instability. Speaking to Times Radio on Wednesday, she described the recent escalation of Israeli strikes in Lebanon as "deeply damaging" and warned that excluding Lebanon from the truce could destabilize the entire Middle East.

While a two-week ceasefire was brokered by Pakistan between Iran and the U.S.-Israel alliance, it notably did not cover Lebanese territory, where Israeli military operations continue. Cooper stressed that the international community wants to see a comprehensive cessation of hostilities to ensure lasting peace in the region.
