6 secretaries transferred

The government has changed the offices of six secretaries.

Besides, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Tuesday, promoting one secretary to the post of senior secretary and one additional secretary to the post of secretary.

Md Mashiur Rahman, senior secretary of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, has been transferred to the post of senior secretary of the Security Services Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Security Services Division Secretary Md Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury has been transferred to the office of the secretary of Bangladesh Public Works Commission Secretariat.

Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Abu Hena Morshed Zaman has been transferred to the Local Government Division, while Local Government Division Secretary Muhammad Ibrahim has been made the chairman (secretary) of the Land Appeal Board.

Land Appeal Board Chairman (Secretary) AKM Shamimul Haque Siddiqui has been made secretary of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.

Chief Executive Officer (Secretary) of Public Private Partnership (PPP) Authority Md Mushfiqur Rahman has been appointed secretary of the Posts and Telecommunications Division.

In a separate notification, Bangladesh Bridge Authority Executive Director and Secretary of Bridges Division Md Monjur Hossain has been promoted to the post of senior secretary. His promotion order will be effective from 12 June.

Besides, Additional Secretary Md Mustafizur Rahman, attached to the Economic Relations Division, has been promoted to the post of secretary and appointed as the chief executive officer of the Public Private Partnership Authority.
