Enforced disappearance complaint can be lodged till 10 Oct


The deadline for filing complaints with the Commission of Inquiry to investigate cases of enforced disappearances has been extended to 10 October, instead of the previous deadline of 30 September.

The petitioners can lodge their complaints in writing from 10:30 am to 4 pm on all working days until 10 October, said a notification signed by the commission’s Public Relations Officer Nasir Uddin.

Victims of the enforced disappearances, their family members, relatives or any witnesses of the incident that took place between 6 January 2009 and 5 August 2024, can lodge their complaints in person, by post or via email.

The petitioners can seek an appointment before submitting their complaints within the timeframe via the hotline numbers.
