Talks with CANCP team reaches Jamuna after BNP, Jamaat

The National Citizen Party (NCP) reached the State Guest House Jamuna at 8:28pm this evening (24 May) to begin talks with Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.

Members of the NCP delegation, led by Convener Nahid Islam, include Chief Organizer Hasnat Abdullah, Senior Joint Convener Ariful Islam Adib, and Senior Joint Member Secretary Tasnim Jara, will meet Yunus in a meeting that was scheduled for 8:30pm.

In a statement today, the NCP had said the delegation would engage in discussions with the chief adviser.

The meeting follows one with the BNP. At 7:30pm, a four-member delegation, led by BNP's Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, including Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahudin Ahmed and Moyeen Khan, talked about elections and the current political situation of the country.

The next one was scheduled for 8:00 pm, when a two-member delegation, led by Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, had national elections on agenda for their meeting.
