Milestone plane crash22 bodies handed over to families

A total of 22 bodies, who were killed in a training jet crash into a building of Millstone School and College in the city's Uttara, were handed over to their families after identification.

The update was shared in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Wednesday night.

The DGHS stated that 22 victims have been identified and their remains transferred to their relatives. The remaining seven bodies are yet to be formally identified.

Of those, six bodies are currently being kept at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), while one unidentified body is at the morgue of Lubana General Hospital & Cardiac Centre. DNA testing is underway to confirm the identities of the deceased before releasing them to their families.
