Army, Air Force to test helicopter landing near Evercare

The Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Air Force will on Thursday test the landing and take-off of their helicopters at two open fields adjacent to the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, where BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment for her critical health conditions.

The tests would be a part of the Special Security Force (SSF) services extended to former prime minister Khaleda, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing in a statement on Wednesday.

The tests would be conducted from 12pm to 4pm, the statement read.

People have been requested to avoid misinformation and confusions to this end, it said.

This week, the government declared Khaleda a “Very Very Important Person (VVIP),” making her eligible to receive SSF services.
