Speaker Hafiz Uddin's wife Dilara Hafiz has passed away

Dilara Hafiz, the wife of the Speaker of the National Parliament, Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, passed away on Saturday (March 28) while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital at the age of 78. Her death was confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan, who noted that her body is expected to arrive in Bangladesh tomorrow evening. According to the funeral schedule, her first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament on March 30 at 11:00 AM, followed by a second Janaza at the Dhaka Cantonment Central Mosque after Zohr prayers. She will be laid to rest at the Banani Military Graveyard. She is survived by her husband, a son, a daughter, and many well-wishers.
