Petrobangla building fire extinguished

A fire that broke out at the Petrobangla building in Karwan Bazar on Saturday morning was put out after about half an hour.

Ershad Liton, duty of Fire Service, said the fire was reported from the 13th floor of the 15-storey building around 9:26am.

Seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 10am.

There was no report of casualty. 

The cause of the fire and extent of damage could not be known immediately.
