NCC Bank's annual conference fosters growth and optimism

NCC Bank PLC. hosted its "Annual Business Conference-2025." in a vibrant two-day event at the Palace Luxury Resort in Habiganj, Sylhet.

The primary focus of this gathering was to enhance the banks business by delivering exemplary customer service.

The conference was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The ceremony presided over by Managing Director of the Bank M. Shamsul Arefin, was attended by a distinguished panel of guests, including Director Syed Asif Nizamuddin, Past Vice-Chairman & Chairman of the Executive Committee Khairul Alam Chaklader and Independent Director & Chairman of the Audit Committee Meer Sajed-Ul-Basher FCA.

Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Mahbub Alam, Md. Zakir Anam & Mohammed Mizanur Rahman and other Senior Executives were also actively involved in the proceedings. 

Chairman of the Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim, in his inaugural speech, expressed his heartfelt congratulations for achieving business goals, even amidst the challenges of the stagnant economic conditions of the past year.

He emphasized the banks rapid business expansion and urged all stakeholders, including branch managers, to sustain the momentum and uphold the highest standards of service quality.

Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin, in his welcome address, highlighted significant improvements in various financial indicators.

Despite challenges such as the dollar crunch and global economic slowdown, the bank witnessed growth in loans & advances, investment, total assets, remittance, and recovery, he said.

He also outlined the bank's business strategies for the current year, outlining a positive path forward.

The directors of the bank, in their speeches, underscored the importance of expanding business while prioritizing exceptional customer service.

They emphasized the strategic use of advanced technology to maintain NCC Bank's strong position in the competitive environment.
