Dhaka to be noiseless for a minute on Oct 15

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is going to observe one-minute silence across the capital on October 15 (Sunday) from 10 am to 10:01 am to check noise pollution.

The silence will be observed with the slogan 'Stop noise pollution, observe silence for a minute'.

Secretary of the Ministry concerned Dr Farhina Ahmed came up with this information at a press conference in the capital today.

As part of the government's anti-noise pollution campaign, such initiative has been taken.
