3 Awami League activists injured in Jashore terrorist attack
Three local Awami League activists were injured as terrorists carried out attack and vandalised their office at Gatipara village in Benapole on Sunday night.
Tahajjel Hossain Bhola, president of Awami League Benapole unit, said a group of terrorist numbering 10-12 went to the office and ordered his men to bring five bottles of liquor around 11:30 pm.
The terrorists beat them as they refused to do that, leaving Hafizur, Sohag, and Jabbar critically injured, he added.
Mamun Khan, officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station, said they were informed about the incident.
Necessary legal measures will be taken after receiving complaint in this connection, he added.
