Mild heat wave sweeps parts of country: Met office

A mild heat wave is sweeping over different parts of the country and it may continue, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said on Thursday.

“A mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Jashore and Chuadanga and it may continue,” said a regular bulletin of Met office.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Besides, a trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
