IDAB sets professional growth strategy at AGM


The Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday at the organisation’s office in Moghbazar to discuss future growth and professional standards.

IDAB President Syed Kamrul Ahsan presided over the meeting, while Director Muhammad Anamul Haque moderated the session.

Former IDAB Convener Shafiul Islam attended as a special guest alongside senior leaders and general members.

The session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a formal welcome to the participants. During the meeting, speakers presented the financial report for the previous year and reviewed the association’s recent activities.

Members engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the work plan for the coming year. They focused on strategic guidelines to improve the professional skills of members and the overall development of the interior design industry in Bangladesh.

The leadership expressed their commitment to strengthening IDAB’s role in the sector. Senior Vice-President Saiful Islam Sharan, Vice-President Architect Sajib Jahan and several directors including Abdur Rahim Sarkar, Wasim Sikder, Irfan Babu, Suman Kumar, Muhammad Shariful Islam and Niazur Rahman attended the event.

The meeting concluded with a pledge to maintain the organisation’s momentum and further enhance the technical capabilities of interior design professionals across the country.
