Shakib set to play against Bangladesh Tigers

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for Asian Stars in the upcoming Asian Legends League, scheduled from 10-18 March.

The five teams of the tournament are Bangladesh Tigers, Indian Royals, Afghanistan Pathans, Sri Lankan Lions, and Asian Stars.

It looked like Shakib Al Hasan would play for the Bangladesh Tigers initially but the all-rounder opted to join Asian Stars, alongside famous cricketers like Dilshan Munaweera, Kedar Jadhav, Sourabh Tiwary, Hamid Hassan, and Seekkuge Prasanna.

His first game for Asian Stars will be on 10 March against Afghanistan Pathans while his much-anticipated match against Bangladesh Tigers is set for 12 March.

Tamim Iqbal, Nadif Chowdhury, Dhiman Ghosh, and Jubair Hossain Likhon, Mohammad Ashraful will be in charge of the Bangladesh Tigers team.

Shakib Al Hasan, Dilshan Munaweera, Sourabh Tiwary, Lahiru Thirimanne, Mehran Khan, Kedar Jadhav, Shehan Jayasuriya, Ayaan Khan, Mahbub Alam, Shahbaz Nadeem, Seekkuge Prasanna, Parvinder Awana, Hasti Gul, Hamid Hassan, and Abhimanyu Mithun are all on the Asian Stars team.
