All sporting activity cancelled in Bangladesh

All forms of domestic and international matches in Bangladesh have been cancelled till March 31 and April 30, 2020, by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Monday because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. 

The total count of coronavirus affected patients went up to eight on Monday and that led to this decision. 

The tournaments set to be postponed include the Bangladesh Dhaka Premier League (BDPL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football, Women's Premier League Football and National Youth Chess. National School Football set to start from March 17 has been halted. 

Educational institutes have also been shut down till March 31, 2020, by the Ministry of Education .
