Nazrul made chairman, Rizvi member secretaryBNP forms polls steering committee

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has formed its election steering committee with the party Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan chairman and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi member secretary.

The 41-member committee was declared in a press release sent to media on Thursday night.

Begum Selima Rahman and Shamsuzzaman Dudu have been named as vice-chairmen of the committee.

Md Ismail Zabiullah has been made chief coordinator of the central election steering committee of the party.

The other members of the committee are Chairperson’s Adviser Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Bijon Kanti Sarkar, Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Ziauddin Hyder, Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, Mahdi Amin, Saleh Shibli, AKM Wahiduzzaman, Saimum Parvez, Jobair Babu, Gias Uddin Rimon, Morshed Hassan Khan and ABM Abdus Satter.

All concerned party members were requested to provide full support to the committee in carrying out its responsibilities.
