Treasurer Dr Md Hasibur Rashid new BRUR VC

Treasurer of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Dr Md Hasibur Rashid has been appointed new vice chancellor (VC) of the university.
A gazette notiofication signed by Education Ministry's deputy secretary Mahmudul Alam revealed this information on Wednesday.
According to the notification, incumbent treasurer of BRUR and Professor of Management Information System Departmnent of Dhaka University (DU) Dr Md Hasibur Rashid has been appointed the BRUR VC.
He will serve the VC of the university for four years. He will draw salary and allowance like his present salaray as the treasurer.
The new VC will enjoy other benefits as per the rules. He will stay all-time on the campus as the chief executive of the unversity.
This appointment will be effective from June 14. Chancellor of the university can turn down his appointment anytime, the notification read.
